Music has always had a major part in my life. From the amazing childhood memories associated with the Jackson 5 to the special songs I chose for my son’s funeral and beyond. There are few songs that can knock me to my knees because of the emotion I feel while listening to them. Today, a simple conversation with a friend brought with it the discovery of an artist I’ve never before known and a song that has the same knock-me-down emotional feeling.
