End of the Year Fiscals
At the end of each year, I go through and plan my budget for the new year. I’ve been engrossed in this process over the past few days. It’s definitely been a challenge.
Although life has had some unexpected occurrences, which caused a great upheaval a few months ago, next year is promising to be much better. I’m thrilled to see just where we’ll be standing this time 2008.
I’ve found a few ways to cut costs on certain expenditures and increase my savings. I’m also going to eliminate one habit that cuts into funds dramatically. It’s going to be a challenge, but it will definitely be worth it in the end. I’m looking forward to a few things this year that will be easily affordable by sticking to this budget.
- A new living room suite (I’ve never purchased this NEW before)
- A new bedroom suite (Even as a child, I never had a complete bedroom set before!)
- A laptop capable of everything I could need for a few years at least
- Photography equipment
- Eliminating the bulk of my debt
- Purchase a new vehicle
Following this plan will enable me to buy a house in 2009. I’m thoroughly excited about this given the crazy times as of late.
