Heroes Season Two – Thoughts

When wind of the writers strike came out, I began watching it closely as I knew the impact it could have on many shows carried through this season. Heroes being one.

I stopped making my weekly postings, recapping the show as I had a hunch…

Heroes would be coming to a premature end. I’m saddened by the ending of season two at such an early date. I have many fond memories originating from Heroes, Season One. It was through that show where my relationship grew and friendships were formed. Monday nights during Season One were filled with good food, great people and of course, Heroes.

While I don’t believe that the strike will come to an end allowing for many shows to continue, I do hope that this will not mark the end of Heroes all together. Keeping interest in Heroes is challenging with the lengthy breaks they take during the season for filming. That isn’t a great way to keep a fan. Now, with the final episode of Season Two fast approaching, I’m left pondering just what will occur for Season Three, if anything. Your thoughts?

I would rather that they just carry everything over until next season rather than try and wrap up all of these story lines prematurely with the strike issues. I would rather have to wait an extended period of time and get the good quality episodes of Heroes that we are all accustomed to instead of getting sub-par episodes that are just clean up.

I love the quality of each episode, as well. I’m rooting for season three to come with a bang.

I caught the filming in stages of Claire after she was burnt by Ted. It was absolutely amazing. The time and effort that goes into just a few moments of air is incredible. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Heroes.
