So Rob went yesterday to a hiring interview with Union Pacific. He didn’t get the job and had taken the day off work to go. Instead of going into work that afternoon, he opted to regain himself as he was really hoping to get the job. This morning when he went in, he was told that he had been replaced, the new person would be starting the 1st of December.

It’s frustrating for him, frustrating for me and although I understand that his boss needed to cover her own butt, it would have been easy to wait 24 hours to find out what happened. The uncertainty is upsetting – for all of us.
